Our new grounds, Watson’s fields, are owned by Clifton College in Abbots Leigh, Bristol, on the A369. They are among the best in the country providing flat, specially marked out pitches. For tournaments we have a specifically allocated camping area, surrounded by peaceful countryside. There is a clubhouse for post-game/tournament relaxation and refreshments.

Directions

The grounds can be easily reached from the M5 Junction 19, or via the Clifton Suspension Bridge (toll).

From central Bristol take the A369 either over the suspension bridge and turn right, or towards Portishead/M5/ Gordano Services, past the Beggar Bush Lane traffic lights, and turn left just after speed camera.

If coming from the M5 Gordano Services Junction 19, head for A369 and turn right about 3 miles along from Junction 19, when you reach Abbots Leigh, past Church Road on your left hand side. The entrance to the grounds is signposted to Abbots Leigh Cricket Club (see pictures below). Follow the track and Watsons Pavilion is in front of you.

Parking

There is a small car park on the left as you go up the drive for about 25 cars and space for a dozen cars by the pavilion. There will also be a roped off area by the trees between us and the cricket club on your right.
